I found a direct message link for him. He did end up responding, but no resolve to my issue either and yes I have exactly the same PDF issue as well.

Corey I 110% agree with you. This is very frustrating.
Hello, sorry for the delay. I made a few changes to prevent this wrong resizing of the exported pdf, please check if everything works now.

The squishing of the image has stopped on PDF export, but there is still significant aliasing around the fret marker or root note (anything that is round).
I am using the under “options” and number 11 style of fretboard layout for the cleanest black and white printing.
If maybe that option could be made with all the lines bolded, or if another could be added, this would be preferable to the washed out grey color.
